Hey there,

In January we had a beautiful blue eyed boy, who we are so thankful for! We have enjoyed every minute of being parents and what a blessing he is to us. Everyday is a new adventure and we love him so much! I was originally due on Christmas Day and for those of you who know me personally know I’m obsessed with Christmas! I couldn’t wait to have a Christmas baby. Little did we know he wouldn’t be born on Christmas and he wouldn’t be born in 2017, he was born the day before my birthday and he was the best present I could ever ask for! I’m thankful I had a pretty great pregnancy besides being put on a strict diet because I was gestational I couldn’t complain one bit. David & I kind of thought that we might be having a girl but we kept it a surprise and it was the best surprise! When they said a boy in the delivery room/operating room ( for those of you who don’t know, I had a emergency c-section)  I looked at David and said, what did they say!! A BOY! We couldn’t believe it!

His name is Steele and David and I have loved that name for years and it stuck. He was going to be either a David the third or a Steele and he came into this world fighting and it was up to my husband to decide officially because he is a junior and he has always wanted a third and I didn’t want to take that away from him… so he said if we are able to have more children in the future and if another baby is a boy that he may be a third, we will see when the time comes.  Steele came into this world pretty rough  and he said he just had a feeling that Steele should be his name so here we are and I couldn’t agree more. Loving our little Steele man to pieces. By little I mean almost 20 lbs of him : ) Our boy loves to eat! He is the happiest baby, loves to talk (like his Mother) and smile and play. He has recently discovered our bulldog and loves watching her and when she gets close he likes to pat her and Maple returns the favor by licking him. haha : ) We love our little family and everyday.. I think to myself is this real life. After getting married my biggest dream has always been to be a Mom and here we are! Being a Mom is an amazing adventure and I’m so thankful for all the support from our family & friends.
